Cookie Policy

The short version

A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to store. Many marketing sites use them to recognize you across visits or to feed advertising networks.

This site does not. We do not run advertising tags, a tag manager, or an analytics product that identifies your browser over time. There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing to ask permission for.

What we set

For tracking: nothing. There is no account to sign in to on this website, so there is no session cookie, and we do not set a preference or advertising cookie.

The contact form posts to this site, which emails the message to us. Sending it does not set a Strataveo cookie, and the confirmation page does not carry a pixel.

Fonts, images, and scripts are served from this site. The small amount of JavaScript we ship runs the navigation and a few page interactions. None of it writes cookies.

Analytics

We use analytics to see which pages get read. It records page paths and counts rather than identifying visitors, and it does not set a tracking cookie in your browser.

Serving any file leaves a record in a server log, including an IP address. That is not a cookie, and it is covered in the privacy policy.

Your hosting provider’s cookies

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and the contact form runs a Cloudflare anti-spam check before it is accepted. Cloudflare’s network may set its own security or bot-management cookie, as most content delivery networks do, to tell a real browser from an attack. We do not read that cookie in our own code and we do not use it for advertising. Cloudflare’s documentation is the authority on what its network sets.

The client portal

portal.strataveo.com is a separate system. It sets the cookies a signed-in application needs. If you use it, that product’s own notices apply. This policy is about the public website.

Embeds

This site does not embed a map, chat widget, video player, or social timeline, so no third-party cookies arrive that way. Adding one would mean updating this page first.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking everything may interfere with security cookies on other sites, but it should not stop this site from rendering.

Changes

The date at the top is the current version. If we ever set a cookie of our own, or add an embed that sets one, this page and the privacy policy change before it ships.
